I want to start this with a few questions. Do you work? Do you like what you do? Are you passionate about what you do?

I’m not sure if you will respond to those questions or not. I don’t know if you will be honest with that answer or not. But one thing I do know is that, if you skipped a beat to answer it, chances are you are not that much into what you do. Or you don’t even know if you like it or not, which can be as troubling as knowing.

I like asking this question because, believe it or not, I’m 39 years old, and I still haven’t found my passion. I dabbled with a few options here and there, but so far I haven’t found anything I’m genuinely excited about doing.

Let me give you a little background. When I finished high school, and it was time to decide what to do, I decided to go to Law school. Not because I loved the idea, but because I was not 100% on anything, and I remembered that a lot of people told me throughout the years that I would be such a good lawyer because of my persuasiveness abilities. So I thought to myself, why not? I can use that power to save the world; let’s do this. I know this is not the right scenario for deciding what to do with your life, but it was the best I could do back then.
